In British Columbia, instructional designer roles are typically tied to organizations updating adult learning, onboarding, and virtual training programs, so demand often follows training modernization and digital learning needs. This category is competitive because employers usually want both subject-matter education and hands-on experience building training materials, evaluation tools, or online courses. If you are applying, tailor your examples to adult learning design and note that the job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original posting, which can save research time.
