The karate instructor is responsible for delivering the ymca karate program, which includes developing sequential weekly lesson plans based on the program syllabus and ensuring a safe environment for all participants. This role also involves coaching participants, communicating progress to parents, and maintaining accurate records.
Candidates must possess current standard first aid & cpr level c certification and a minimum of 1 year of active karate training experience. A commitment to the ymca’s mission, vision, and values, along with a focus on child health and safety, is essential for success in this role.
