The karate instructor is responsible for delivering the ymca karate program, which includes developing sequential weekly lesson plans based on the program syllabus and ensuring a safe environment for all participants. This role also involves coaching participants, assisting with gradings, communicating progress to parents, and maintaining accurate records.
Candidates must possess current standard first aid & cpr level c certification and a minimum of one year of active karate training, with experience teaching youth leadership being an asset.
