The incumbent provides students with appropriate learning experiences in healthcare settings, coordinates client selection and scheduling, and monitors and supervises student practice throughout clinical experiences. This includes intervening in client care when necessary and providing input into the student evaluation process.
Candidates must possess a bachelor of science in nursing (Bscn) and maintain current registration as a registered nurse (Rn) with the cno, requiring five years of experience as an rn in medical/Surgical settings and long term care. Required qualifications also include computer skills, knowledge of healthcare safety regulations, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet physical demands.
