  • Supervised ABA Therapist We are looking for someone to join our growing ABA department.
  • As a Supervised ABA Therapist, you would have the opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team of teachers and therapists in providing a unique educational and therapeutic intervention.
  • The candidate we accept will receive training and supervision from an experienced team of therapists and Behaviour Analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly 1:1 with students receiving ABA therapy
  • Working with small groups of students in a classroom
  • Implement reinforcement systems and behaviour plans in the classroom
  • Implement social skills curriculum in the classroom
  • Implementing goals
  • Collect and graph data
  • Prepare for ABA sessions
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc.
  • Maintain daily written communication log with families
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to professionals and families as required
  • Uphold Centre’s policies and procedures (including ethical guidelines) Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education and training in the field of ABA, IBI, Special Education and/or Child Development (or related)
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Follows directions and takes instruction
  • Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other exceptionalities
