CSAP 26-519 - Intervenant(e) en soutien aux élèves - École du Carrefour du Grand-Havre

The student support worker is responsible for developing a preventive approach in collaboration with the program planning team to design and implement programs for children facing academic challenges due to social, emotional, or behavioral issues. This role involves working collaboratively with families, administrators, teachers, and community support organizations to foster students' social skills and self-Mastery.

Candidates must possess a post-Secondary diploma or certificate equivalent to the nova scotia community college student support worker program or a specialized educator program, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with school-Aged children and youth. Essential requirements include excellent oral and written proficiency in both french and english, a valid driver's license, and certifications in first aid/Cpr and non-Violent crisis intervention.
