Perinatal Health & Wellness Worker, Dietitian

This role provides community-Based education and resourcing to pregnant people and parents/Caregivers with young children, focusing on healthy pregnancies, positive birth outcomes, breastfeeding, and family nutrition, especially for families facing barriers. Responsibilities include providing individualized nutrition counseling, reducing access barriers, and offering trauma-Informed, strengths-Based supports to enhance family wellness and resilience.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree specializing in nutrition, food science, and/Or dietetics and be registered with the college of dietitians of alberta. Required experience includes group planning/Facilitation, managing crisis situations, and applying strength-Based and trauma-Informed approaches when working with diverse families facing systemic barriers.
