The instructor acts as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel, facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcomes. Responsibilities also include planning, coordinating, and evaluating unit-Specific orientation programs in conjunction with the nursing director.
A bachelor of nursing degree and current crnm registration are required, along with a minimum of two years of recent cardiac experience and successful completion of the bls instructor certificate. Experience in educational program planning and demonstrated teaching experience are considered assets.
