The general duty radiation therapist provides clinical radiation therapy services to cancer patients and participates in the clinical instruction of radiation therapy students, residents, and other staff. Assignments primarily include treatment and/Or simulation, with potential coverage required for other areas within the department based on recent experience.
Candidates must possess current canadian association of medical radiation technology (Camrt) registration and a certificate for cpr – bls provider, along with the legal ability to work in canada. Essential competencies include accuracy, reliability, commitment to professional development, strong communication, assessment, problem-Solving, organizational skills, and the ability to educate others.
