Early childhood educators are responsible for ensuring a safe and engaging environment by designing and leading activities tailored to children's developmental stages using the ymca playing to learn curriculum. They must also cultivate positive relationships with parents, staff, and community partners while providing direct care and communication updates.
A required early childhood educator (Ece) license recognized in british columbia is mandatory, along with emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed certification (To be obtained shortly after starting). Additional assets include infant toddler educator or special needs educator qualifications and strong communication skills.
