RN/RPN Clinical Mentor - Mental Health

The clinical mentor acts as an experienced resource, championing excellent client care by providing rapid elbow-To-Elbow mentorship and practice support to nursing staff in conjunction with nurse educators. Responsibilities include facilitating staff learning by role modeling best practices, observing care delivery, providing feedback based on standards, and leading continuous quality improvement activities.

Candidates must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the bc college of nurses and midwives (Bccnm) and have three years of recent relevant acute or community mental health nursing experience, including mentoring experience. A valid bc driver's license and access to a personal vehicle may also be required.
