The professor will be responsible for teaching courses in the general carpentry apprenticeship program, facilitating learning, and providing an effective learning environment for all students. Professional responsibilities include designing/Revising courses, delivering instruction, advising students, and participating in academic leadership activities.
Required qualifications include a 403a red seal general carpenter certificate of qualification and a minimum of five years of experience in general carpentry. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in postsecondary education, is considered an asset.
