Wranglers are responsible for delivering quality programming during the preparation, delivery, and debrief of the horse program, creating an inclusive environment for campers aged 11-17 to develop tangible skills. This includes leading safe trail rides, performing equipment maintenance, encouraging camper development, and managing risks to ensure program and wellness standards are followed.
Candidates must have experience working with youth aged 11-17 and be experienced facilitators capable of adapting their style to group needs, including planning and leading overnight camping experiences. Required technical skills include experienced western riding, horse handling, positive behavior management, and holding or being willing to obtain wilderness advanced first aid (Wafa) and cpr certifications.
