The team lead provides leadership and support to community specialists and participants, ensuring program planning and implementation focus on participant goals and assigned outcomes. Responsibilities include training, mentoring, overseeing direct care employees, planning meaningful programming, fostering relationships, and ensuring a safe environment.
Candidates need extensive experience working with children, youth, or vulnerable individuals, including confidence in supporting challenging behaviors and providing personal/Medical care. Minimum education ranges from a high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience up to a university degree with 1-2 years of experience, alongside required certifications like first aid/Cpr and a clean driver's license.
