Respite/ Disability Worker - Community Specialist I

The community specialist acts as an ally and ambassador, providing enhanced direct care and purposeful support in a safe environment while fostering genuine relationships to empower participants with disabilities. Key functions include thoughtful program planning, modeling socially appropriate behaviors, assisting with personal care, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates must have a minimum education of a high school diploma and little to no prior work experience, aligning with the organization's core values. Required upon hire are a clear police information check, intervention record check, and intermediate first aid certification cpr level c and aed.
