The lifeguard/Instructor is responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience through active supervision, incident prevention, and emergency response while lifeguarding. This role also involves providing high-Quality instruction for various aquatic programs, including preparing lesson plans and maintaining facility safety standards.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2,080 hours of prior lifeguard/Instructor experience, possessing strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Required certifications include national lifeguard, oxygen administration, swim instructor standard first aid with cpr c or aquatic emergency care, and aarfp pool operator 1.
