The occupational therapist is responsible for developing programs that allow individuals, including children with autism spectrum disorder and others, to fully participate in daily life activities. Key duties involve assessing client needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, consulting on aba programs, and maintaining current evidence-Based practices.
Successful candidates must possess at least one year of experience working with children with asd and hold a master's degree in occupational therapy, along with familiarity with various assessment tools. A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and legal authorization to work in canada are also mandatory requirements.
