The occupational therapist is responsible for developing programs that allow individuals, primarily children aged 2-18 with autism spectrum disorder (Asd), to participate fully in their daily activities. This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and consulting with behaviour analysts supervising aba programs.
Successful candidates must possess a master’s degree in occupational therapy and have experience with various assessment tools, along with knowledge of current research in the field. Applicants must also be members of or eligible to apply to cotbc/Coto/Acot and be authorized to work in canada.
