The occupational therapist is responsible for developing programs that allow individuals, primarily children aged 2-18 with autism spectrum disorder (Asd), to fully participate in daily life activities. Key duties include assessing client needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, consulting with behavior analysts, and maintaining current evidence-Based practices.
Successful candidates must possess at least one year of experience working with children with asd and hold a master's degree in occupational therapy. Applicants also need familiarity with various assessment tools and must be a member of, or eligible to apply to, cotbc / Coto / Acot.
