Maintain administrative, district, personnel, and student files.
Maintain and update student records (registration forms, permanent record cards, class lists, transfers, monthly attendance).
Provide reception duties for students, parents/guardians, staff, visitors, inquiries, mail, and phone calls; relay messages.
Perform word processing and computerized tasks.
Monitor school/department accounts; ensure invoices are accurate, properly coded, and authorized; issue payments and receipts; collect and deposit monies; reconcile monthly bank statements.
Maintain and balance petty cash as needed and maintain the Principal's Trust Account as needed.
Schedule appointments and arrange travel as required.
Complete Ministry and District forms for submission under direction of the Administrative Officer(s) or Supervisor.
Assist with organization of meetings and may record/transcribe minutes.
Assist with maintaining records for staff positions during absence/illness.
Handle registrations for teacher professional development course offerings.
Perform minor first aid as required.

Requirements summary
Grade 12 or equivalency.
