School of Nursing Faculty of Human and Health Sciences Fort St.
John Part-Time, Term The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) invites applications for sessional instructor positions in the School of Nursing – NBNP for the Fall 2026 semester.

Candidates with a minimum BScN, MScN or PhD preferred, are encouraged to apply.
Current registration as a Practicing RN with the BCCNM is required for all clinical positions and is preferred for all other positions.
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and/or evidence of instructional training is preferred.
Related professional experience will be viewed favorably.
Commitment to student-centred learning is considered important.
There is possibility of remote teaching for some theory courses; please indicate a preference for remote teaching in your application, if applicable.

Fall 2026 NRSG 415 Medical and Surgical Practice 2 Lab Facilitator– Contract is for 1.0 SCH; Wed 09 – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm; Sept 01 – Oct 10, 2026 This course consolidates previous learning by focusing on the care of adults and older adults with high acuity conditions and complex health issues.
Students have opportunities to extend their clinical reasoning, decision-making, and co-ordination of patient care within an interdisciplinary acute care environment.

Salary The salary for Part-Time Sessional Instructors is determined on the basis of Semester Contact Hour (SCH) at a rate of $3,046.03 per SCH.
