School of Nursing Faculty of Human and Health Sciences Prince George Part-Time, Term The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) invites applications for sessional instructor positions in the School of Nursing – NBNP for the Fall 2026 semester.

This posting covers undergraduate courses in need of instruction from the Wood Innovation Design Centre, located in downtown Prince George.
Candidates with a minimum BScN, MScN or PhD preferred, are encouraged to apply.
Current registration as a Practicing RN with the BCCNM is required for all clinical positions and is preferred for all other positions.
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and/or evidence of instructional training is preferred.
Related professional experience will be viewed favorably.
Commitment to student-centred learning is considered important.
There is possibility of remote teaching for some theory courses; please indicate a preference for remote teaching in your application, if applicable.
Fall 2026 NRSG 410 Professional Practice: Mental Health and Addictions Nursing Lab Facilitator – Contract is for 1.0 SCH Mon 12 – 3pm and Fri 08:30 – 11:30am; Sep 01 – Oct 10, 2026 This course focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to care for individuals experiencing common mental health issues and substance use disorders.
Theoretical and clinical approaches draw on concepts related to holistic and relational practice including cultural safety, trauma-informed practice and advanced therapeutic communication.
Use of exemplars and case-based learning prepare students to interact with and care for patients in acute, community, and primary care settings.

Salary The salary for Part-Time Sessional Instructors is determined on the basis of Semester Contact Hour (SCH) at a rate of $3,046.03 per SCH.
