Emphasis is placed on health promotion and illness/injury prevention strategies and on chronic self-care management.
Situations requiring physician referral and managing rapidly changing conditions are also addressed.
This two-part course, which consists of on-site practice, seminars, and a clinical practicum, includes a structured clinical evaluation.
