Position Summary

The Faculty of Nursing, University of Regina, in collaboration with Saskatchewan Polytechnic (Sask Polytech), offers innovative undergraduate nursing programs in Regina and Saskatoon, as well as an online graduate nurse practitioner education program. In addition, other graduate programs are offered independently. The University invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Instructor II or III (depending on experience and qualifications) within the Faculty of Nursing. Faculty are based at the Regina Campus; some travel will be required to support student learning, community engagement, and cross-institutional collaboration. This is a teaching-focused position. The Faculty of Nursing seeks candidates with experience in nursing education and broad clinical experience that will inform their teaching. Position Requirements The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice, and a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for teaching. A successful candidate will be expected to use a variety of teaching modalities, including courses offered on-site, online, in hybrid formats, and in labs and seminars. Hiring preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual and have completed at least one graduate degree in Nursing. Experience with and a solid understanding of healthcare simulation in nursing is also preferred. Applicants must be registered or eligible for practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Physical Demands See information up to 24 inches away (monitors, computer screens) May involve prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for teaching and other work. Pay Grade Faculty Instructor
