Part-Time Academic Lab Instructor (2 positions): ANAT 5217 (Functional Human Anatomy) and ANAT 5000 (Clinical Anatomy) - Fall 2026 Posting Number PTAP3312P Department/Unit Medical Neuroscience Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities Position title: Part-Time Academic Lab Instructor, ANAT 5000 & ANAT 5217 – Fall 2025 Department/Unit: Department of Medical Neuroscience Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia Positions: 2 Two Part-Time Academic Lab Instructors are needed to teach ANAT 5217 (Functional Human Anatomy for Physiotherapy students) and ANAT 5000 (Clinical Anatomy for Occupational Therapy students) from September 1, 2026 to December 15, 2026. Duties include, but are not limited to instructing and demonstrating human gross anatomy in the laboratory to graduate level Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy students. The instructors will be responsible for participation in the marking of exams. The position reports to the Course Directors. The instructors would work in partnership with course senior instructors teaching concurrently within the fall term. Qualifications/Requirements of Position Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree is required. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of human gross anatomy and an established record of teaching experience. Good interpersonal skills to work with groups of students. Strong communication skills, positive attitude towards students, and fairness in evaluation and grading are required. Salary Range/Pay Rate In accordance with CUPE agreement
