Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act Demonstrated knowledge in the area of adult assessment and intervention Knowledge in human behavior, growth and development Initiative in organizing work in accordance with departmental procedures Ability to formulate referral plans and requests Ability to plan/organize/coordinate with other multidisciplinary team members Initiative in completing assigned tasks Knowledge of how addictions impacts the individual, community and families Knowledge of local human service organizations, resources & referral procedures Ability to be resourceful Ability to support Assessor Coordinators in also following guidelines Ability to clearly articulate assessment findings Ability to make decisions in accordance with policies/procedures of SHA/MHAS/ED Ability to adapt to changing conditions Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines Knowledge of how mental health impacts the individual, community and families Other Information Valid Class 5 driver's license Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
