Nurse B - Patient Educator

The gestational diabetes nurse educator will be responsible for assisting in the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of specific educational needs and services tailored for referred individuals with gestational diabetes. This role requires applying knowledge of the nursing process and principles of adult learning to deliver effective patient education.

Candidates must possess a bachelor of science in nursing (Bscn) and be a certified diabetes educator (Cde), along with at least two years of experience in perinatal/Obstetrical registered nursing. Required competencies include basic computer, teaching, and organizational skills, and registration with the college of registered nurses of saskatchewan (Crns).
