Child and Youth Worker - Day Treatment (1 Role)

The child and youth worker provides assessment, intervention, treatment, advocacy, and support to children and youth facing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties in a classroom setting. Responsibilities emphasize a multi-Disciplinary approach consistent with school-Based mental health intervention and integrated agency models.

Candidates must have a post-Secondary education in child and youth care, social work, or a related field, along with a minimum of one year of related experience. Essential requirements include functional technological skills, knowledge of child and youth mental health legislation, and maintaining certification in an agency-Approved crisis intervention methodology.
