Community Engagement Coordinator

Core responsibilities
The coordinator is responsible for building capacity to integrate patient and community expertise across ubc health's educational, research, and system change activities by strengthening existing partnerships and developing new relationships. This includes planning processes for recruiting, orienting, and supporting community members engaged in ubc health initiatives, and facilitating a network for a new team-Based teaching clinic.
Requirements summary
A minimum requirement includes a university degree in a relevant discipline and at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, alongside a commitment to enhancing awareness of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree and five years of related experience in community organizing or engagement roles dealing with diverse stakeholders.
