Core responsibilities
The faculty resources assistant provides complex and confidential senior administrative support to the faculty resources unit, dean’s office, and academic divisions, overseeing the coordination of hr and administrative processes for faculty recruitment, appointments, and onboarding. This role also handles division administration, including financial duties, recruitment activities, teaching support, and managing student workers.
Requirements summary
Minimum requirements include high school graduation plus a two-Year post-Secondary diploma and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include training in administrative practices and knowledge of ubc systems like workday, along with strong organizational, communication, and problem-Solving abilities.
