Core responsibilities
The instructor is responsible for modeling behavior and mentoring students to fulfill their academic potential by planning, organizing, and implementing a structured approach to learning using a prescribed curriculum. Essential functions include delivering curriculum via lecture and software, managing classroom/Lab instruction, tracking attendance, submitting grades, and providing student support outside of class time.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have 48 months of relevant work or teaching experience within the last 10 years, or 24 months of experience combined with a bachelor's degree, a college of applied arts and technology graduation, a registered pcc graduation, or an ontario college of trades certificate of qualification. Proficiency with microsoft office and database applications is required, along with current cpr (Healthcare provider level) certification.
