Key responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, reassessments, setting goals, consulting with the school team, and providing treatment when appropriate for students receiving school based rehabilitation services. Clinicians also manage equipment prescription via the sea program and liaise with teams and parents regarding service delivery.
Candidates must possess a degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university and be registered with the college of occupational therapists of ontario (Coto), along with current cpr and first aid certification. Experience with school-Age clients and the tiered model of service is preferred, and travel with access to a personal vehicle is mandatory.
