Summer Program Assistant - ILP & Riverwood

Assist participants in problem-Solving, strategy setting, and achieving personal goals by maximizing their independence in daily activities, while also contributing to the planning and implementation of therapeutic activities. Responsibilities include preparing materials, promoting leisure and social skill development, assisting with complex life skills, and providing personal care when necessary.

Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years old, legally entitled to work in canada, and enthusiastic about working with children and youth with physical and developmental disabilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with challenging behaviors and personal care, current cpr/First aid/Cpi certificates, a valid ontario driver's license with access to a vehicle, and enrollment in related health/Therapy fields.
