Research Ethics Board Coordinator

The research ethics board coordinator coordinates the initial and ongoing ethics review for minimal and above-Minimal risk studies, from pre-Submission through project completion. This involves conducting pre-Reviews, assessing risks, assigning studies to board members, ensuring compliance with guidance documents, laws, and regulations, and drafting official correspondence.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three years of experience in human research ethics, including protocol review and drafting correspondence on behalf of an reb. Essential knowledge includes the tri-Council policy statement (Tcps 2) and experience with electronic research ethics board systems.
