Part-time Professor - Apprenticeship Automotive and Mechanical Trades

The professor will be responsible for teaching courses in the automotive department, facilitating learning, and providing an effective learning environment for all students under the direction of the chair. Professional responsibilities include curriculum development, course delivery, student advising, and academic leadership within the department.

Required qualifications include certification in one of the trades

Truck and coach technician (310t), auto body and collision damage repairer (310b), or automotive service technician (310s). A minimum of 5 years of experience in apprenticeship training within automotive and mechanical trades is mandatory, while 2 years of teaching experience, preferably postsecondary, is an asset.
