Indigenous Agriculture Research and Engagement Specialist, Soil Science

The specialist will create and foster relationships with indigenous communities and organizations to support research and engagement activities focused on advancing climate-Resilient indigenous agriculture and food systems across the prairies. Key duties include conducting interviews, liaising with partners, recruiting participants, organizing events, and drafting research manuscripts.

Applicants must possess an msc degree in environmental science, ecology, biology, soil science, or a related field, along with experience conducting interdisciplinary research with indigenous communities. A valid class 5 driver's license is required, and strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential for balancing priorities and deadlines.
