Live-In Treatment Child & Youth Practitioner

The practitioner facilitates and delivers assessments, therapeutic treatment, programming, and discharge planning for children and youth in a 24/7 live-In treatment setting, providing direct care and supervision to support their health and well-Being. Responsibilities also include organizing meetings, maintaining residential facilities, and completing all required documentation to meet ministry and licensing standards.

Candidates must possess a cyw/Cyc diploma or degree along with at least one year of experience in a live-In treatment setting dealing with clients with mental health concerns. Essential knowledge includes crisis management, evidence-Based treatment modalities, trauma-Informed practice, conflict resolution skills, and an understanding of inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility (Idea) and anti-Oppressive perspectives.
