The respite worker will provide direct supervision to ensure the safety and engagement of children/Youth in skill development and treatment components, while supporting their mental health and wellbeing across various programs. Responsibilities also include implementing programming based on applied behaviour analysis principles, completing data collection, and following client plans in collaboration with team members.
Candidates must possess a cyw, dsw, or related diploma along with at least one year of directly related experience working with children and youth. Essential knowledge includes principles of aba, asd, dual diagnosis, and an understanding of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (Idea) and anti-Oppressive perspectives.
