The indigenous research coordinator will manage the overall research program, overseeing planning, finance, administration, communications, and report organization for funders and community partners, while also coordinating all community events. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement programs, build relationships, and enhance indigenous engagement within the department.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or certificate in administration or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years of related experience, including demonstrated experience working with indigenous communities in an academic setting. A strong understanding of indigenous cultures, traditions, and ways of knowing, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills, is required.
