The clinical nurse educator ensures all work aligns with organizational missions and goals to promote high quality, safe client care by establishing best practices and evaluating educational programming. This role involves assessing learning needs, acting as a clinical resource, promoting client-Centered care, and participating in continuous improvement activities as part of the interprofessional team.
Candidates must possess a bachelor of science in nursing (Bscn) along with a minimum of five years of clinical experience, including experience in a clinical leadership role like charge nurse. Required certifications include cpr and basic life support (Bls) instructor/Certificate, and eligibility with the college of registered nurses of saskatchewan (Crns) is mandatory.
