The clinical educator provides visible proactive leadership, promoting client-Centered care through educational programming, which includes assessing staff learning needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating education activities. This role involves using a consultative approach, applying research findings to support health professionals, and collaborating with the nurse educator team on specific clinical areas.
Candidates must have three years of experience in an acute care setting, including experience teaching adults, and hold a bachelor of science in nursing (Bscn) or an acceptable nursing diploma. A valid class 5 driver's license is required, and registration with the college of registered nurses of saskatchewan (Crns) is necessary.
