The advisor will support métis clients in achieving sustainable employment by conducting employment assessments, managing case interventions, guiding job searches, and advising on eligibility for métis-Specific programs. Key duties include building client rapport, developing action plans, monitoring employment outcomes, and actively marketing rli services to stakeholders and the community.
Candidates must possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in humanities, career development, social services, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar employment services role. Essential requirements include strong communication, cultural sensitivity towards métis communities, knowledge of labour market trends, and the ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining ethical standards.
