The advisor provides case-Specific immigration advising regarding study/Work permits, visas, and related issues, maintaining the highest standard of advice for international students and their families. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing university-Wide immigration-Related communications, programs, and services, and managing complex student cases.
A minimum of an undergraduate degree and four to five years of related experience are required, along with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Preferred qualifications include being a regulated canadian immigration consultant (Rcic/Risia) in good standing with thorough knowledge of canadian immigration legislation affecting international students.
