The circulation assistant provides moderately complex public services related to the circulation of library materials and equipment, handling patron requests, and performing basic to moderately complex information services, including technology troubleshooting. This role also involves moderately complex work supporting collections maintenance, facility upkeep, and is specifically responsible for library opening and closing procedures during evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications require high school graduation plus a two-Year library technician diploma and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be willing to respect diverse perspectives and be able to work evening and weekend shifts.
