The advisor is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating programs and services to support student learning and personal and professional development for undergraduate, graduate, and diploma in accounting students. This includes facilitating curricular and co-Curricular learning experiences, advising departments on incorporating peer-Supported learning, and supporting areas like orientation, leadership, case competitions, and awards.
A minimum requirement is an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline along with three to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience in post-Secondary project management or program development, knowledge of student development theories, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
