Core responsibilities
The manager will oversee smooth day-To-Day departmental operations, providing leadership and ensuring a positive work environment while managing and leading various licensed child care programs like preschool, infant-Toddler, full day 3-5, before and after school care, and camps. This role involves supporting program implementation, managing budgets, providing training based on ymca curriculums, communicating with families, and executing tasks independently amidst competing priorities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience in people management within licensed child care, child development, or social services, including budgetary management, alongside experience in full-Cycle recruitment. Essential requirements include a valid bc ece certification, a driver's license, and either a class 4 license or the willingness to obtain one.
