Family Support Practitioner

The practitioner supports children, parents, and families by promoting healthy development, strengthening parenting skills, and addressing risk factors through home visits, group sessions, and outreach. Key duties include building trusting relationships, providing standardized screening, conducting safety screenings, and connecting families with necessary community resources.

Candidates must possess a university degree in social sciences such as social work or child and youth care, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in family support or community-Based services. Successful applicants require experience with evidence-Informed programs, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to pass required background checks and maintain a valid driver's license.
