Instructors are responsible for providing children and youth with inclusive, positive, safe, and creative visual art learning experiences, including planning, organizing, and presenting art projects and activities. Lead instructors (Instructor ii) must also plan, develop, and deliver age-Appropriate activities across various art forms and mediums, while evaluating leaders in training participants.
Instructor i requires a high school diploma and demonstrated experience working with children aged 6-15, while instructor ii requires at least one year of post-Secondary education in visual arts or education and two or more years of instructing art programs to children in group settings. All candidates must pass a vulnerable sector check and possess current intermediate first aid, level c cpr + aed certification.
