The advisor will conduct employment assessments and case manage interventions for métis individuals, supporting them through job searches, career goal setting, skill enhancement, and overcoming employment barriers. Key duties include advising clients on program eligibility, maintaining accurate client records, and actively marketing rli services to stakeholders and the community.
Candidates must possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in humanities, career development, social services, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role related to employment services. Essential competencies include strong cultural awareness, excellent communication, case management skills, and knowledge of métis-Specific employment barriers.
