The equine ambulatory veterinarian provides on-Farm primary, preventative, and emergency medical care to horses, including routine services like dental care and reproductive management. This role also involves supervising and instructing final-Year veterinary students, interns, and residents during field service rotations.
Candidates must possess a doctor in veterinary medicine (Dvm) degree or equivalent and be licensed with the saskatchewan veterinary medical association, along with holding a valid class five driver’s license. A minimum of three years' experience in equine ambulatory practice covering primary care, preventative medicine, and emergency response is required.
